Guiseley in Bloom

Guiseley in Bloom was formed in 1999 by local resident Mrs Shirley Hughes-Rowlands who decided that Guiseley should have a more attractive image to the many visitors and transient communities who regularly pass through the town on the major route to the Dales and beyond. Since that time, the transformation which has taken place has been extensive.

We currently have around two dozen active members who can be found most Sunday mornings, and also during the week, working around Guiseley. Any additional help would be most appreciated and you would be more than welcome to join our enthusiastic and friendly volunteers undertaking a variety of tasks in a number of locations. You don't have to be a budding Alan Titchmarsh but any hours you can spare at any time will help make Guiseley look blooming marvellous!

Further information can also be found at the Yorkshire in Bloom and Britain in Bloom websites.
